Summary Description:

The Vice President, Sales is responsible for leading all new business sales for the Provider market. Primary responsibilities will include sales growth, revenue growth, and revenue retention. The individual will know the healthcare market with an emphasis in Health Analytics, Care Management and Coordination, Business Process Services, and Provider & Patient Engagement.

The ideal candidate will have well established industry relationships, multi distribution channel sales experience, an analytical mindset with awareness of key marketplace trends, as well as a proven track record of building engaged and innovative sales teams. They will manage a team of leaders and sellers.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead sales team as the senior point of contact within Provider

  • Create deal strategies and timelines

  • Develop and maintain strategic C-suite relationships to grow the business

  • Support and foster the culture of the team by communicating openly, provider constant feedback, and help employees with their career development

  • Regularly communicate and provide management with critical updates including escalating issues appropriately

  • Ability to maintain a 3x sales pipeline within Salesforce

  • Meet or Exceed sales quota by effectively performing sales functions

  • Accountable for overseeing all aspects of the sales process to generate new revenue (price quotes, contract negotiations, RFP process, transition roadmap discussions and strategic quarterly meetings)

  • Achievement of Sales Plan – the development and maintenance of existing and/or potential customer relationships through adherence to an account management process. Activity duties include but not limited to:

o Identify targets/existing client “white space” based on specific business solution criteria

o Approach client from a solutions based consultative selling model

o Engage appropriate resources within Divisions and Geography

o Work internally with Service team on Issue resolution and client satisfaction

o Build high-touch relationships with appropriate Buyer/Influencer

o Sales pipeline management of opportunities in Salesforce

o Conducts sales presentations and maintains up-to-date account forecasts and sales records to facilitate territory management and prospective customer contact.

o Create proposals, negotiate pricing and close deals across the solution sales cycle

o Educates clients on new services, technology and other Conduent Health services Qualifications and Education Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field preferred.

  • 10 years as a leader Sales function.

  • A successful track record of delivering exceptional revenue performance.

  • Reputation for excellence as a sales leader and relationship builder in related industries.

  • Must possess the ability and willingness to travel 50% or more as needed
