Audit & Compliance Analyst I

Currently, we are seeking excellent Audit & Compliance Analyst I to join our team in Somerset, NJ .

* This position requires 75% travel and use of personal credit card(s) to cover travel expenses until bi-weekly reimbursement is received by Conduent*

Job Summary:

The IPAP Audit Consultant will interact directly with the Director, Auditing Services and will be responsible for conducting IPAP audits and other types of audits as directed. The IPAP Audit Consultant will also engage and interact with the ongoing development and execution of audit protocols and will work cooperatively with all members of the internal Auditing Services team and external auditees.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assistance audits of institutions and other audits as directed that receive donated pharmaceutical product (s) from various pharmaceutical manufacturers

  • Follow audit protocols based upon audit scope and Program business rules

  • Submit all service deliverables within required time frame

  • Remain current on the regulatory/legislative issues pertaining to Institutional Patient Assistance Programs.

  • Adhere to all applicable fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, etc.

  • Monitor and audit compliance to policies and SOPs

  • Provide feedback to internal and field personnel on compliance matters

  • Adhere to all internal and/or client specific travel policies

  • Perform other duties as requested in support of the Auditing Services team

  • Develops and provides reports of audit outcomes to management, documents and records resolutions

Job Qualifications:

Education:

Preferred: BA/BS Degree or 5 years related work experience

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrate current working knowledge of various rules, regulations and industry guidance that impact the Institutional Patient Assistance Programs.

  • Ability to forge strong working relationships with internal personnel and field auditee

  • Possess strong communication skills (verbal and written), analytical, organizational skills and interact in a team environment.

  • Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts, prepare and present concise oral and written reports.

  • Demonstrate high standards of conduct and ethics as well as maintain confidentiality of company, client and patient information and activities

  • Lead and participate in auditing discussions in a professional manner

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team under little supervision

  • Ability to interact professionally with internal staff, external clients and regulatory personnel

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to accomplish them in a timely manner

Preferred:

Pharmaceutical related auditing experience
