Currently, we are seeking an Aerospace Instructor to join our team at Seattle, WA.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Managing assigned courses, schedules and resources.

  • Delivery of coursework, checking in participants and preparing classroom materials and classroom clean-up.

  • Communicating updates, issues and/or questions to your manager in a timely manner.

  • Stay up to date on Aerospace and compliance requirements and maintain the highest level of customer service.

  • Instructors must be flexible to Instruct classes throughout Puget Sound (between Everett and Puyallup), in addition to working a possible 1 st , 2 nd or 3 rd shift.

  • Grading hands-on Assessments and completing supporting administrative requirements.

  • The Instructor works as part of the Instructor Resource Management team to deliver aerospace industry courseware to our client.

SKILLS:

Significant hands-on experience, subject matter expertise and/or certifications in:

  • Electrical installations, Bonding & Grounding and/or Aircraft Sealant application/Paint

  • Aircraft assembly, Heavy Structure Drilling and/or Maintenance

  • Blueprints, productions standards and/or Functional Test

  • Aircraft systems operations, familiarization and troubleshooting

  • Pneumatic/Hydraulic and Fueling systems

  • 1-3 years Training experience preferred

  • Classroom, web based, hands-on, Master Training Specialist, etc.

  • Knowledge of principles for instruction of individuals and groups preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

  • MS Office experience and comfort learning new software

  • Ability to travel along the Puget Sound between Everett and Puyallup

  • Ability to work varying shifts as needed (1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd )

  • Boeing and/or military aviation maintenance experience preferred

Functions:

  • Process participant events and transactions related to Health and Welfare administration

  • Troubleshoot application and data issues

  • Develop working relationships with clients, third party vendors, and /or ancillary service providers and other internal parties to ensure seamless delivery on specific tasks, special projects and/or participant issues

  • Reconcile monthly premiums and ensure timely delivery of client reports and billing invoices

  • MS Excel, Word required

  • Strong SQL knowledge required

  • MS Access preferred

  • Mainframe skills preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience is preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years related Health and Welfare benefits administration experience preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues resulting from breaks in operational controls and processes; attention to detail.

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and make independent decisions based on business policies and procedures

  • Effectively prioritize work responsibilities and tasks and knows when to escalate to management
