PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Our Fraud Disputes group ensures our customers receive the best fraud detection and protection in the industry. Our operational strategies are aimed at mitigating fraud losses to both the cardholder and the company. The Fraud Investigation Specialist is responsible for investigating incoming fraud dispute/claims utilizing research tactics to determine an outcome of the dispute/claim.
Take ownership of each cardholder’s fraud dispute/claim
Resolve the fraud dispute/claim within the time allowed per Regulation E
Provide appropriate solutions to each dispute/claim assigned
Engage with the cardholder if any information is needed to support the outcome of the dispute/claim
Manage time to handle disputes/claims within Regulation E compliance
Must be Direct Express adjudicated.
High School diploma or GED.
Banking knowledge is recommended.
Experience in Fraud Operations
Experience in Fraud Dispute/Claims
Case/Claims Management Experience
Knowledge of the use of PCs and related software.
Must pass PC Knowledge Test.
Ability to navigate Internet Explorer and using multiple sessions.
Experience in data entry (alpha and numeric) or with a 10-key calculator with minimal error ratio.
Typing skills must be above 25 wpm.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to handle highly stressful situations with professionalism and excellent quality.
Position requires sitting for long periods of time and considerable handling of paperwork, telephones, as well as keyboarding requiring repetitive motions with fingers.
