Primary Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the coordinated planning, execution, management and control of technical projects within the ITS transformation workstreams.


Provides project management for 6-8 concurrent projects across various functional and technical disciplines.

  • Designs, develops, and maintains a detailed work breakdown of project milestones, deliverables and tasks to be accomplished for the initiative and ensure that tasks are getting accomplished on time and within budget.

  • Identifies and handles project risks, issues, mitigation plans and continuous improvement actions.

  • Develops and maintains standard project artifacts such project scope document, communication and escalation plan, risk/issue log, resource forecasts, progress, and status reports.

  • Negotiates pragmatic delivery and implementation plans with project resources and influences direction of all participants to meet the overall project goals and objectives.

  • Develops project approach through evaluation of project strategy, scope, deliverables, problem identification, and other assumptions or constraints.

  • Maintains and promotes a solid understanding of technical scope and deliverables with the ability to describe their relationships and dependencies in layman’s terms.

  • Identifies and articulates project risks and issues with a proper sense of urgency bringing the right people together for resolution, then recognizes when the problem has been properly addressed and closed.

  • Drafts project level documentation and contributes to program level communications and/or reports suitable for leadership consumption and decision making purposes.

  • Negotiates and continually manages project expectations with leadership and other stakeholders.

  • May partner with other workstream leads and program management to draft operational documentation such as training, SOPs, and readiness playbooks, etc.

  • May provide support and coaching to other Project Managers assigned to enterprise projects.

  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum 5 years project management experience overseeing technology projects including developing project schedules, managing team resources, creating work breakdown structures, estimating size and effort for new deployment projects.

  • Knowledge of at least one but preferably more of the following: contact center solutions, enterprise architecture and infrastructure implementation, data center build out, IT security, disaster recovery, and IT operations.

  • Proficient with productivity tools: MS Office Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

  • Self-motivated, quick and assertive personality with outstanding time management.

  • Possess excellent technical aptitude and a desire to learn constantly.

  • Aptitude for negotiation and have influence with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to provide competent and proactive leadership.

  • Use sound business acumen and good judgment.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure and be comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.

  • Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.

  • Must consent to and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings.

Preferences :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • PMP and/or Six Sigma certification.

  • Familiarity with ITSM methodologies (e.g. ITIL) and IT Service Catalog.

  • Cross-functional in complimentary disciplines such as business requirements and analysis, process engineering, technical writing, reporting and/or data analysis.

  • Experience working in an IT outsourcing environment and/or managing IT service provider(s).

Location: This position is located onsite in Lexington, KY or Morrisville, NC. No relocation assistance is provided.
