Job Description:

Desktop Support III, Service Delivery Client Network Services

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking to accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.

  • Maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.

  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise products (i.e. Exchange, Active Directory)

  • Support and provide maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment.

  • Troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

  • Network Cabling and good grasp of its methodology

  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

  • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role

  • 2-3 years’ experience supporting Windows desktop hardware and software

  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers

  • PC and network security experience

  • Experience with host machine cloning using imaging software

  • Windows system hardware expertise including knowledge of PCI express troubleshooting and configuration

  • Must have: Windows, MS Office, Office 360

  • Mus have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Availability to travel to support other Conduent facilities located within the El Plano/Dallas city limits/surrounding area

  • Any additional duties as assigned.
