This position can be located at any US based Conduent office.

Responsible for management, leadership and execution of a portfolio of Payroll and Data management new client implementations or projects / programs; and ensuring alignment with IT standards and strategies. Responsibilities include managing project / program scope, time (schedule), integration, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk and other project management deliverables. Develops and maintains relationships with Business Unit leads and

leadership teams to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and the value to be delivered for those projects and programs.

The role holder will be responsible for leading large, complex payroll and data conversion projects or elements of multiple medium-scale projects while supporting the Implementation Lead. The successful candidate will manage Project Team Members (e.g., Data Analysts, Project Coordinators, Testing, and Development Resources, etc.) and work with the

leadership team in the implementation and use of best practices (procedures, processes, templates, tools) to support the planning and execution of the project(s) within his/her control.

Primary Responsibilities:

Has defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, financial and quality aspects.

Influences policy formation on contribution of specialization to business objectives.

Influence at level of division internally and influences customer/suppliers and industry at senior management level.

Decisions impact work of employing organizations, achievement of organizational objectives and financial performance.

Develops high-level relationships with customers.

Highly complex work activities covering technical, financial and quality aspects and contributing to formulation of Payroll and Data Conversion strategy.

Work involves creative application of wide range of technical and/or management principles.

Helps to develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities.

Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices

Requirements:

Experience in all phases of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Working knowledge of Plan Administration in general and deep Health & Welfare domain knowledge in particular (events, calc, premium reporting, COBRA, etc.)

Specialization in all aspects of payroll processing

Strong leadership skills and analytical abilities

Powerful interpersonal skills and extensive background in client facing interactions

Project management and personal organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines

Very strong technical background in: Structured Query Language (SQL): ability to write simple and complex queries in

Sybase SQL; familiarity with stored procedures and ability to read the code; experience in database design and ability to work with DBAs if necessary.
