WFM Supervisor

The WFM Supervisor works within the WFM department (Local, offshore or located at a Shared Production Center) The WFM supervisor has an executive role in a hierarchical management structure. In virtually all cases, this involves managing WFM Planners, WFM Schedulers, WFM Trafficers (f.e. RTA), WFM Adherence Clerks and/or WFM LWF.

In the case of this position is reporting to a WFM Business Partner, the role predominantly deals with the human side of management and has a more indirect responsibility for the performance of the department. The WFM Business Partners who are involved at the projects of the team members also carry responsibility towards job functioning and performance.

§ Responsible for job performance and general development of each team member;

§ Establishing what capabilities are required and in how far individual team members have the potential to fulfil these requirements;

§ Monitoring performance on the work activities of individual team members both qualitatively and quantitatively;

§ Periodically reviewing personal development by means of mutual discussion and recording of personal development;

§ Coaching/motivating team members to enable them to fulfil requirements made both qualitatively and quantitatively;

§ Chasing team members about their mandatory training and tests progress

§ Having regular team meetings and/or organising team building/development activities

§ Taking care of HR/Recruitment processes for the team together with HR/Recruitment.

§ (Support in) developing, optimising and assure structured approach of all the processes and standard operational procedures the structure, systems, instruments and procedures in relation to the area of responsibility of the team

§ Managing expectations of internal customer

§ Increasing satisfaction level of internal customer

Performs all other duties as assigned


§ Higher Vocational / University level, preferably communication, economics, logistics or mathematics

§ Minimal 1-2 years of experience on WFM and/or in the role of Supervisor (and preferably in a COPC environment)
