DIRECTOR-RISK & CONTROL (Financial Services or Healthcare) for our team (no remote/virtual)

This position will serve as a Global Risk & Compliance function within the Company and will knowledge/experience in the Financial Services or Healthcare verticals (REQ’D) reporting to a Delivery Leader.

This position will support the sector by serving as a conduit between the 2 nd line of defense (corporate functions) and general managers (department heads) to coordinate the implementation of policies and standards, oversee and enforce policy and regulatory compliance, design, validate and oversee the effectiveness of internal controls, and drive the remediation of noted control deficiencies. This role will also serve as the central point of contact and liaison to the 3 rd line of defense (Corporate Audit) and for client inquiries.

.What U need to WIN:

  • BA or BS in Accounting, Economics, or Business Management (MBA pref)

  • 10 years of varied risk management experience in a banking or healthcare environment

  • Strong leadership qualities including the demonstrated ability to work across business lines to foster growth in a balanced risk/reward framework

  • Thorough knowledge of laws and regulations; prefer direct experience working with regulators

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret a diverse array of information and analysis sufficient to support reasoned recommendations

  • Strong strategic planning skills

  • Excellent communication and follow through skills

  • Strong PC skills and computer support system knowledge
