Title : Software Trainer

Location: Prefer Lakeland, FL or Irvine, CA; may consider other Conduent U.S. locations

Position Overview:

Responsible for planning, developing and implementing product training programs to enable customers and staff to use our products, tools and processes.

Essential Duties:

  • Creates and maintains training programs for new and existing products and services. Programs will utilize blended learning models such as instructor-led training, online training, and/or asynchronous training.

  • Researches current trends in education and training; makes changes in curriculum and delivery methods based on that research.

  • Serves as a product specialist to both internal and external clients.

  • Supports development and enhancement of product user manuals, training guides, quick reference materials, and printed/online job aids.

  • Develops, manages and implements training programs for target audience of in-house staff, supervisors, managers, trainers and external software users.

  • Creates and implements training effectiveness tools and methodology used to measure, evaluate and improve training programs and publications.

  • Designs improvement action plans in courses and/or publications as needed.

  • Assures proper maintenance of training materials, records and other related documentation.

  • Develops and/or facilitates train-the-trainer sessions; provides trainer guides, job aids and support materials.

  • Plans and tracks training projects; conducts product/service/system analyses.

  • Provides the highest level of customer service to customers, whether these are current or prospective clients of the Company, vendors, staff, business partners or visitors.

  • Assists and cooperates with co-workers, supervisor and management; maintains positive morale within the unit by motivating and supporting staff.

  • Participates in and/or leads structured problem solving teams and applies statistical and other problem solving tools. Collaborates with others to effectively identify and resolve problems and conflicts.

  • Manages confidential client, financial and employee information with discretion and good judgment in accordance with department and Company guidelines.

  • Demonstrates a dependable work ethic.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the art practices; participating in professional societies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

  • Five years experience in the workers’ compensation industry, preferably in medical bill review.

  • Five years experience in instructional design, eLearning, and training desired.

  • Experience with training adults utilizing multiple methods of delivery such as online/web-based, instructor-led, and asynchronous training models.

  • Effective presentation skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to fit audience.

  • Very effective oral, written and presentation skills and the ability to develop long-term business relationships.

  • Ability to write correspondence, reports and training materials and user guides.

  • Experience performing and/or managing project tasks as a member of an implementation project team.

  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly assimilate technical knowledge.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously.

  • Competency to utilize Company software and proficiency in Microsoft software applications and a willingness to learn new systems as necessary.

  • Ability to travel and work as needed to meet Company objectives.
