Title: Product Manager

Location: Lakeland, FL; may consider other Conduent U.S. locations

Position Overview:

  • The Product Manager will be a key member of the organization driving the innovation and competitiveness of Conduent’s Workers’ Compensation products.

  • Establishing a product vision that meets the business challenges of the competitive workers’ compensation bill review industry

  • Driving product strategy to deliver a portfolio of high value solutions

  • Defining and formulating product features based on industry understanding, customer input, sales input and technology directions in a Business Requirements Document

  • Working with marketing to develop product positioning, sales strategies, and marketing strategies

  • Analyzing and understanding competitor products

  • Consulting on the conceptual design documents

  • Guidance, mentoring and supervising Business Analysts in gathering business/client needs and documenting the requirements

  • Promoting improvement processes between Development, QA and Compliance to ensure the most efficient software delivery model

  • Identifying, evaluating, and providing recommendations for product performance improvement

  • Collaborating with internal and external groups on workers’ compensation state fee schedule business specifications

  • Understanding the workers compensation industry and the related business needs of payers and providers

  • Researching state workers’ compensation fee schedules, memos, bulletins, announcements, emails, etc., for interpretation on how they impact Conduent Worker’s Compensation bill review software

  • Functioning as a product SME consulting with Software Change Requests, defects, and product enhancements requests to Development

  • Functioning as a Project Coordinator assisting with the prioritization of projects and work activities to insure adherence to compliance and project timelines

  • Responding to product questions and inquiries from internal and external clients

  • Providing architectural assistance to upper level management

  • Collaborating with other departments to effectively identify and resolve problems and conflicts

  • Works under the general supervision of the VP Product Management for special tasks and/or projects.

  • The position supervises Business Analysts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years experience working in the worker’s compensation industry

  • Extensive working knowledge of workers’ compensation state fee schedules, CPT codes, ICD-9 and ICD-10, Medicare guidelines, and healthcare programs

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the Medical Bill Review process

  • Experience with all Microsoft Office products

  • Working knowledge of Company products, department policies, and procedures

  • Ability to work at various levels within the Company, from working with Development on specifications, to preparing presentations and business cases for upper management

  • Strong analytical thinking and end-to-end problem solving skills

  • Strong team player with the ability to drive results independently and take initiative

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities

  • Effective oral, written and presentation skills

  • Competency to utilize Company software and a willingness to learn new systems as necessary

  • Ability to remain positive while focused on moving forward, regardless of obstacles

  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
