Title: Pathways Automation Specialist
- Responsible for those functions, activities, and skills required for analysis, design, coding, integration, test & maintenance of Pathways rules.
-Performs routine assignments in entry level of the professional career band
-Typically a graduate, although may have progressed into the role via equivalent business experience that provide knowledge and exposure to fundamental, theories, principles, and concepts of Pathways rules.
-Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others
-Limited decision making authority guided by policies, procedures, and business operations protocol
-Plans, designs, develops and tests Pathways rules.
-Analyzes, programs, and modifies Pathways rules in response to other system enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
-Using current programming languages and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of Pathways rules.
-Plans and directs studies of potential electronic data processing applications to further streamline the Pathways offering.
-Develops and installs Pathways rules to support general business process.
-May be involved in discussions related to proposed system changes that may impact Pathways.
-Identify Pathways rule enhancements needed including new VOCAB’s to support the Pathways rule writing process.
-All other duties as assigned.
-High school diploma/GED
-Minimum three (3) years of Work Comp Medical Bill Review experience
-Minimum three (3) years of StrataWare software experience
-Ability to use Microsoft Windows-based software
-Outstanding communication verbal and written
-Ability to assess and document workflow issues
