Are you a marketing operations professional with a passion for helping brands grow but know that can’t happen without the flawless management and execution of the marketing operations function? Are you experienced in budget oversight, implementation and use of digital automation tools, and solid reporting of metrics? If so, you might be a great fit for our team. We are looking for a self-starting Marketing and Communications Specialist to help us manage marketing operations for our Consumer and Industrials business sector. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude, a tireless work ethic in an environment of constant change, an enormous amount of curiosity and an insatiable appetite for learning and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management and oversight of department budget and all associated operations requirements.

  • Learn, understand, and manage requirements for all accounting, procurement, and invoicing systems.

  • Management of all vendor onboarding into our Accounts Payable system, opening and managing all Purchase Orders, ensuring all invoicing is received timely and input into our system

  • Oversee and manage contracting and relationships with industry and event organizations

  • Organize assigned project activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of programs and projects on schedule and within budget constraints

  • Maintain and assign marketing leads and queries that come in through various digital channels, ongoing monitoring of business email boxes, ensure data integrity of qualified leads and query responses. Work closely with marketing and sales to ensure leads are being followed up on by the sales team.

  • Curate content for marketing e-newsletters and assist with email campaign development and execution

  • Document processes and implement improvements to enhance marketing productivity, including compliance management with internal systems. Make recommendations for improvements.

  • Monitor and use digital management tools for marketing programs, including Domo, Marketo, and Salesforce.

  • Collaborate effectively with sales, operations, business leadership, and external agencies to help execute projects and manage marketing operations

  • Assist with reporting on programs and program effectiveness, including pre- and post-industry event presentation development, program overview documentation, and competitor overviews.

  • Other marketing responsibilities could include events planning and logistics management, including contract negotiations.

Desired Skills & Experience

Preferred skills:

  • 5 years of relevant experience required with 3 years’ experience with sole responsibility managing budgets, marketing operations, and related projects

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to work well with cross-functional teams

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing skills

  • Experience with Salesforce.com, DOMO, webinar platforms and marketing automation tools like Marketo

  • A willingness to embrace change and experiment with new ideas

  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery of projects in a cross-functional environment as well as the ability to multi-task in a multi-cultural environment

  • Ability to work independently and with various levels of management in our group

Education:

BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or Liberal Arts
