Purpose

Responsible for supporting the P2P Procurement Tools and Processes. Contribute to the achievement of global procurement value improvement targets through the development and implementation of standardized processes, procedures and improvement of the local needs.

Global Procurement is responsible for developing critical relationships with our suppliers to deliver sustainable competitiveness, service improvement, quality, and innovation in our value chain. Procurement provides category expertise and leadership ensuring clear and well-governed procurement processes are deployed in every part of the organization. We provide leadership in cost efficiency, leverage, and productivity by driving contract adoption through excellence in our supplier relationships .

Conduent is planning to enhance and streamline its Source-to-Pay processes on a new procurement platform and replace / decommission existing tools across the globe. This will allow us to increase customer satisfaction; provide better visibility to produce accurate and timely financial reporting; increase productivity and reduce the risk to achieve business objectives and/or compliance to policy.

Profile


  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or Certified Procurement/Purchasing career

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in purchasing department, business administration or finance

  • Solid comprehension of formal purchasing processes and associated financial/accounting requirements

  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services

  • Acts with integrity ensuring ethical decisions are made

  • Negotiating Skills with proven record of success

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Customer focus and service oriented

  • Microsoft Office skills are required, good JD Edwards/Oracle/SAP (SAP Ariba)/Emptoris skills desired

  • Leadership skills

  • Proactive and results driven

  • Teamwork and capable to work under pressure

  • Experience of having worked in matrix organizations and reporting remotely

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Support the P2P Tools and Processes

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less P2P experience, especially for Fusion Procurement Tool administrative and escalation questions

  • Monitor key performance indicators and proactively communicate issues and to drive continuous improvements in procurement activities

  • Continue review of processes in order to improve outcome

  • Lead and implement tactical operations by leveraging spend, contract management and policy compliance

  • Leads global procurement support function with focus on continuous improvement

  • Implement and maintains policies and procedures to streamline procedures and implement solutions

  • Manage internal user relationship including standard assessments and reviews, and resolution of operational and performance issues

  • Support the installation of the new Ariba tool (new P2P Procurement tool), including data gathering, determine requirements, testing and training

  • Complete the rollout of the Ariba Procurement tool globally (up to 24 countries)
