Position Summary :
The Senior Director, Sales is responsible for leading U.S. sales for the Electronic Tolling and Collections (ETC) business unit. The business unit is comprised of a diverse portfolio of offerings including Electronic Toll Collection Back Office, Automated License Plate Recognition, Vehicle Passenger Detection systems and Lanes.
The ideal candidate will have well established industry relationships within the Electronic Tolling industry, multi distribution channel sales experience, an analytical mindset with awareness of key marketplace trends, as well as a proven track record of building engaged and innovative sales teams. The successful candidate will bring strong transportation industry knowledge and deep tolling experience as well as the ability to drive the selling process and bridge requirements across sales, pursuit teams and operations to develop winning bids.
This position reports to the Vice President, Portfolio Leader of Electronic Tolling and Collections organization. They will manage a team of leaders and sellers. This leader will drive and execute on sales strategy initiatives and focus on improving the effectiveness of the sales organization to win new business
Working in support of an assigned Sector, development of sales strategy for unit portfolio that contributes to Transportations ETC strategic vision and positioning in the market.
Applying thought leadership and strategic thinking to identify and conceptualize prioritize and lead cross functional processes focused on improving efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization from opportunity development, solutioning, to contract closure.
Lead the sales team in developing a strategic road map that will drive revenue and improve market share.
Leverage industry deep industry expertise to build and develop global relationships, representing the organization with key customers and industry stakeholders.
Develop strong business relationships with the key internal business partners to understand and deliver on their needs, as well as drive their engagement with our sales strategy, tools and systems.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field preferred.
10 years as a leader Sales function.
15 years’ experience in sales (national sales or global sales).
A successful track record of delivering exceptional revenue performance.
