This person will be responsible for ensuring the metrics are completed and SLA’s are being met by tracking and auditing data, reporting metrics to the customer and internal team.
Responsible for metrics compilation and reporting, audits, filing sales & use tax returns, customer service, issue research & resolution pertaining to returns, payments or missing returns and payments.
Responsible for initiating payments to jurisdictions, volume forecasting and fulfilling data requests from customers.
Ability to work with and coordinate across teams in multiple locations
May perform one or more of the following duties:
Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts..
Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation.
Prepares and analyzes tax records and reports.
1 years’ experience required
Sales & Use Tax Filing /Jurisdiction correspondence
Customer service, Clear/concise written & verbal communication; time management; multi-task / ability to plan & prioritize
Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Internet, required. Intermediate experience preferred
Strong analytical skills, strong computer skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines, basic customer service and phone skills (will need to contact jurisdictions for information and to resolve issues)
Strong organizational skills, ability to identify and implement process improvements, attention to detail
The person in this role needs to have good soft skills – the ability to work well with people as well as interact with offshore teams.
This person needs to be very strong analytically and detail oriented as well as have the ability to research and resolve issues with little oversight.
- Bachelors' degree required.
