This role is for a White Glove Support Desktop Analyst.
The right person will have the opportunity to be involved in a highly complex cross-functional IT infrastructure and service delivery environment, through strategic support and planning that align with corporate initiatives that impact end user support and IT operations . The client base will span across various lines of business and levels, providing a mix of onsite and remote support.
The Analyst will be expected to utilize standard methodology and tools, armed with a broad, in-depth knowledge of the client base and environment and IT policies and procedures to provide services at the highest level.
The Analyst will have the opportunity to assist in the growth and service delivery improvement of this globally dispersed and cross-functional team, along with internal or 3 rd party support groups, via knowledge transfer and collaboration during problem solving phases and project phases, with the objective to enable the client self-help through leveraged resources and automated operations processes.
Intermediate technical, organization & relationship building skills are critical to the success of the client’s perception of support and service delivery value.
Experience with Windows (7/8, 8.1, 10) environment
TCIP (network), Cisco VPN, Citrix
Needs to be a great team player
Following internal processes, workflows and chain of command to a tee must be innate
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, working with diverse audiences especially at the executive level, third party service providers, corporate groups
Be able to manage crisis situations that may involve technically challenging issues
Be responsive to needs which may sometimes require working outside of normal business hours
Maintain knowledge of IT initiatives
May include travel
Min. 3 years exp. in white glove or executive support
Ticketing system technologies
Analyze business and IT processes, technologies and applications
