Description

Conduent Legal and Compliance Solutions (CLCS) Project Managers are responsible for high profile, high risk projects that are considered critical to the success of the Operations group and to CLCS as a whole.

Project Managers also serve as the primary liaison between client management and the operations team for existing clients, ensuring that client projects and deliverables are executed in an accurate, timely and efficient manner, following established procedures and guidelines.

Project Managers will also be tasked with internal projects that are focused on providing quicker more accurate processing results.

The position involves meeting with clients and/or client managers to understand the initial client requirements and to scope the project. It then requires meeting with the operations team to design, develop and maintain systems and procedures to meet those needs, working with operations managers to ensure that projects are resourced appropriately, and then delegating tasks to operations team members where appropriate.

It also requires subsequent follow ups, daily monitoring of workflow and detailed reporting to be sure that all client needs are met in a timely and accurate manner, and that any issues are addressed.

The position requires strong attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, excellent communications skills and exceptional follow through. It also requires the ability to drive project initiatives as well as guide the client and CLCS towards successful completion of goals.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the gathering of project requirements from clients and client managers.

  • Create detailed functional requirements definitions based on the agreed upon project requirements

  • Work closely with Operations Management and Client Management to ensure that the proper resources are in place to meet client requirements.

  • Identify and communicate timelines, deliverables and key milestones with all stakeholders for assigned projects.

  • Develop clear, written project plans with defined tasks, owners, and due dates.

  • Also identify potential risks and mitigation steps for them.

  • Produce daily status reports for high profile initiatives

  • Daily monitoring of the operations pipeline to ensure that all project components and work requests are moving according to plan and that service level agreements are being met.

  • Monitor all projects and deliverables constantly, and escalate problems or delays appropriately.

  • Work closely with Client Managers to continually monitor client needs and to assess necessary changes and make plan adjustments accordingly.

  • Provide technical guidance to both internal and external clients, ensuring always that most sound technical solutions are being offered.

  • Report any findings and provide regular status updates to executive level management as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background in key technologies, including client/server environments, network technologies, databases and web-based technologies

  • 1-2 years of demonstrated prior experience in project management.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to a rapidly growing, dynamic environment

  • A strong client service focus

  • Experience in achieving daily Service Level Agreements

  • Experience in monitoring workflow and supplying data to support metrics/reporting to track performance

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization, including clients and executive management

  • Strong work ethic – evening and weekend hours may be required.

  • Prior experience in a customer service environment preferred.

  • Prior exposure to the legal industry is desired.
